PRINCE HUMPHREY.
AUCKLANDER'S A.J.C. DERBY. SUCCESS OF MR. C. G. SIACIXDOE. LIMERICK RUNS DEAD HEAT. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) SYDNEY, September 30. The Australian Jockey Club's Spring Meeting opened at Randwick yesterday in ideal weather, when there was an attendance of 75*000. The race track was in splendid order, and the racing throughout was every in keeping with the A.J.C. ground. The Derby provided an exciting contest. Moltison was in a prominent position throughout, but failed in the last few strides to stall, off Prince Humphrey, and the Auckland-owned gelding scored ft victory, amid great excitement.
