WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK

STEVENSON—SEMMENS. St. George's Church, Whakatane, was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Rona Mary, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Semmens, of Taneatua, was married to Mr. Robert Gregon Stevenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stevenson, Blenheim. The Rev. C. Brown performed the wedding ceremony. The bride was attired in a rose bengaline frock with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of stock and anemones. She was attended by her sister, Miss Isabelle Semmens, who wore a forget-me-not blue crepe de chine frock and hat to tone. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Bert Hyland. After the ceremony the relatives of the contracting parties attended a weddin« breakfast at the residence of the bride's parents.
