HUMOROUS WRITERS.
Could you tell me if there is any generallyaccepted opinion as to who are the greatest modem humorous writers—say the three greatest?- I'have recently noticed leading and other articles on the subject and these contain no mention of the writer.who in my opinion is head and shoulders above the rest. I refer to P. G. Wodehouse. W.I.T.
[We should not like to venture an opinion, but we may say that Mr. Wodeliouse's unusual gifts. of humour have long been recognised in these columns.—Ed.J
