TITIRANGI ROAD.
May 1 draw attention to the disgraceful state of parts of "Titirangi main road? Recently tliis road was remetalled and rolled, and presented for the first time in many years a "proper condition. But since this highway was so much improved not a particle of patching has been done, with the result that the "whole of the good work is being undone. Three-parts of the road —below Mr. Burberry's residence, first bend at foot of long hill and from Shaw s garage to the kiosk—are in a most dangerous. condition. Great hopes were held out that the example shown by the new engineer would continue. If the suggestion that the engineer is not being given a free hand is correct, then it is high time a change was made. TITIRANGI RATEPAYER.
