WON BY ENGLISH AMATEUR. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, September 27. The French open golf championship was won by C. T. Tolley, the English amateur, with a score of 233. Kinch did 254. and Cotton "28t). The next highest were:—W. E. R. Whitcombc. 286; Boomer, .Tolly and Duncan, 287. Tolley is the first amateur winner of the French open title.
