LATE MR. C. WILLIAMSON.

INTERRED AT O'XEILL'S POINT.

A number of old friends of the late Mr. Charles Williamson attended his funeral yesterday. As Sir. J. W. Williamson, son of the deceased, is Mayor of Takapuna, several members of that council were also present. The elder children of Belmont School lined the drive from the road to the house, thus forming a guard of honour. Many beautiful wreaths were forwarded.

The Rev. W. G. Monckton conducted a short service at the residence in Victoria Road, and also at the graveside in the cemetery at O'Neill's Point, where he was assisted by the Rev. Canon McFarland, of St. Michael's Church, Bavswatcr. The family have received letters and telegrams of sympathy from all parts of New Zealand.
