ANTONIO ARRIVED. MAHENO FOR SYDNEY. Overseas arrivals at Auckland to-day included the Maui Pomare from Apia, via Southern ports, and the Antonio from Casablanca, while the Golden State from Los Angeles is due this evening. Inward bound shipping is still being delayed by westerly gales in the South Pacific, and the Vestvard now expects to arrive from Texas at noon to-morrow. The Maheno, taking passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney, sailed early this afternoon, while the Pakeha :3 "to be dispatched for Montevideo and London at daybreak to-morrow. An espected arrival here on Monday next is the steamer Danybryn, with raw sugar from Java, for discharge at Chelsea. (Spedding. Ltd., agents.) En route to Vancouver from Sydney and Auckland. the Union Co.'s R.M.m.s. Aorangi arrived at Suva at 8.45 a.m. today. She is due at Vancouver on October 12. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer lonic is to leave Wellington at ti.oi) a.m. to-morrow for Auckland, to complete discharge of her pncral cargo from London. She is due here on I'uesaar. rr.. r>. Nathan. Tiri reported at noon to-day that the auxiliary four-masted schooner Margaret W. was in sight about CO miles off. She is bound from Gisborne to Sydney to load for New Zealand. In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Turakina is to sail at noon tomorrow for Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunediu and Bluff. The Huddart-Parkcr steamer Ulimaroa leaves Sydney this ai'ternoon with passengers. mails nnc cargo for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday morning. She leaves again tor Sydney next Friday. A further radio from the Norwegian motor ship Vestvard states that she expects to reach Auckland from Port Arthur (Texas) at noon to-morrow. She has a cargo of case oil for discharge at the Western wharf. To put out the balance of her cargo of Red Sea phosphate, the steamer Ravenscar sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington and Lyttelton. From Lyttelton she is to go to Westport for bunkers and thence ro Suva to load sugar for the United Kingdom. With fruit from the Cook Island®, the Union Co.'s steamer Waipalii is due at Auckland nest Tuesday. Mu; is to sail the following Friday for* Suva to load for Auckland, replacing the Tot'ua while the latter vessel undergoes overhaul. Having left Wellington ve=terday afternoon. the Canadian National steamer Canadian Transporter is due at Auckland early on Sunday morning. After refuelling at the Western wharf she is to berth at the King's wharf to All up for New York. Boston and Montreal. She is to be dispatched for New York on Monday. She is due here next Monday morning, and after discharge will withdraw for overhaul. She is announced to sail on her next voyage to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa on November 3. According to her wireless report, the O and O. steamer Golden State, from Los Angeles, should reach Auckland about 6.50 p.m. to-day. She is to berth at the Central wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo of lumber, case oil. and general cargo. to the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane. Ltd. Wellington and Dunedin are her other ports of discharge. Arriving from Wellington early this morning, the Government motor ship Maui Pomare berthed at the Central wharf to complete discharge of her cargo of Island produce from Apia and Niue. She is announced to sail at 'J p.m. to-morrow with passengers, mails and cargo for Norfolk Island. (Spedding, Ltd.. agents.) Taking passengers, mails and cargo for Sydeny. tbe I'Dion Co.'s steamer Maheno was dispatched from Auckland early this afternoon. She is due at Sydney on* Tuesday and leaves there on Friday for Wellington. Also for Sydney, the Marama leaves Wellington to-day. She Is due at Sydney on Tuesday and leaves there on Friday for Au'-kland. From Auckland, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship Port Huon is reported to have arrived at New York on Wednesday. She left Auckland on August 2!», and is four days ahead of schelule. From New York she is to go to Boston and Loudon to complete discharge of her cargo of New Zealand produce. ANTONIO ARRIVED. Several days overdue on account of adverse weather, the New Egypt and Levant Snipping Company's steamer Antonio (Captain F. Hardwicki arrived at Auckland this morning, acd berthed at the King's wharf to discharge tbe local portion of her cargo of Moroccan phosphate. Leaving Casablanca on August 2, tbe Antonio experienced fine weather in the Atlantic, atri arrived at Colon on August 21. she cleared Balboa the same day. tine weather continued until September 20. when the \e~»el encountered a strong westerly gale. For the last week o:' the voyage the Antonio was continually beset by head winds of hurricane force accompanitd bv heavy seas, which broke aboard and swept the decks, flooding fore and aft. At times 'he speed was reduced to three knots On September 21 a shock was felt that suggested that a piece had broken off one of the propellor blades, but the extent of the damage will not be known until an examination has made.
