AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Several lines sold on 'Change to-day ftfc slight advances in price. Waihi shares were sold at 13/5, and Mount Lyells at £1 16/. Reuown Collieries changed hands at 13/1, and for N.Z. Insurance, £2/5/4 was paid. Buyers of United Insurance shares advanced their price to £11 2/. and inquiry was made at the noon call for Standard Insurance shares at £3/3/6. Bu>ers of Bant of Australasia shares advanced their offers to-day to £15. but there were no sellers. Commercial Bank ot Sydney shares had demand at £27, and inquiry was made for E.S. and A. Bank shares at £8 16/. Bank of New South Wales shares were offered at £51 10/, but buyers quoted 2/6 under that figure. Colonial Sugar shares firmed to buyers at £62 15/, and inquiry set in for National Mortgage shares at £4. Business was done once more in Havward's Pictures at £1, and for Whittome, Stefrenson shares, £2 8' was accepted.
