THE DEVONPORT SHIELD.
SOMERVILLE v. ST. LUKE'S.
UNBEATEN TEAMS TO MEET.
Unbeaten in the Devonport Shield competition to date, Somerville and St. Luke's will meet at the Remuera grounds to-morrow, when the Auckland Hockey Association's matches will be continued. This match will probably decide the winning of the shield, and there should be some bright hockey and plenty of enthusiasm. Only two other games in the shield series will be played, University Whippets having defaulted to University and Shore having given the points to Training College. Epiphany will meet Otahuhu, while Mount Eden are drawn against Somerville Colts. Teams have been selected as follows :— MOUNT EDEN. Seniors.—Anderson, Mainland, C. Hirst, Wells.
