FIRE IN WASHHOUSE.
An outbreak of fire in a detached washhouse at No. 33, Clifton Road, Heme Bay, was responsible for the City Fire Brigade being called out early this afternoon. The washhouse was severely damaged before the flames were suppressed. The cause of the fire is at present unknown. The place was owned and occupied by Mr. I. Philipps.
