INCREASE MAINTAINED. 39,738 ISSUED IN DOMINION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Radio licenses continue to increase by a few hundred each week, the total of all grades now standing at 39,738. There is no doubt that big popular events, such as the trans-Tasman ilight and the world's boxing championship, add to the number of licensees. Wellington leads with a total of 15,670; then follow Auckland, 13,364; Christchurch, 7965, and Dunedin, 2739. The increase for the last week was 492. The total number of listeners' licenses is 35,240.
