FUTURE OF LAMB PRICES.
After drawing attention to the prospective increases of South American and Australian lambs to the London market during the coming season, Pyne, Gould, Guinness and Co. say in their annual report:—“lf industrial conditions continue to be sound, we should judge that the Old Country will be able to consume at about current prices the whole of this big bulk of meat, but the total tonnage of lamb is now getting to such a big figure that a reduction in value in the long run seems to us to be more likely than an increase.”
