PIGEON FLYING.
POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. The Point Chevalier Homing Club flew a nice on Snturilay from Palmerston North, an airline distance of 246 miles. The birds encountered very dirty weather, and the winning bird. Mr. A. Robertson's bee Master Bonce, reached its loft after flying S hours 40 minutes, thus winning the valuable tropiiy presented by Mr. W. McKnight. Mr L. Robertson's b be Bondi, who gained second place, <•:<>«• behind the winner, gains the trophy presented by Mr. R. McKnight. Results Mr. A. Robertson’s b c c Master Bonce (S44yds per minute) 1 Mr. L.
