THAMES CLUB.
THE ANNUAL REPORT.
YEAR OF SOLID PROGRESS
(By Telegraph.—Special to “Star.”)
THAMES, this day.
The ninth annual report of the Thames Trotting Club, to be presented at the meeting on Saturday next, shows that the past season’s activities have been most successful, and the club is now in a sound financial position, despite the heavy expenditure Incurred In purchasing and erecting stables. In reviewing the past year’s operations the president, Mr. J. Twohill, stated that a sum of £l2BO and a handsome gold cup donated by Mrs. B. Collins had been given in stakes.
