i ■ MORRINBVILI3 FACTORIES. RETURNS FOR AUGUST. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. Increased supply over August, 1P27, Is noted in the monthly returns of factories operating in the Morrinsville district. Higher rates of payout are also a feature, the most noteworthy being that of the Norfolk Company, •whose advance for cheese is 1/9 per lb. In all cases this advance has made the total distributions to suppliers higher than in August, 1927. The figures are as follow, those of the corresponding month of 1927 being given in parentheses: — Morrinsville.—Pounds of butterfat, 136,133 (100,026); payout (clear of cartage), 1/5} (1/5); total, £10,020 8/3 (£7500 14/8). Tatua (Tatuanui).—Payout, 1/6 (1/5); total, £4017 (£3423); distribution to date, £0139 (£5062). Norfolk (Motumaoho). — Pounds of Butterfat, 053,248- (570,773); test, 4.12 (4.12) ; pounds of butterfat, 26,951 (23,555); payout, 1/9 (1/6); total, £2358 8/6 (£1706 15/8); distribution to date, £3472 (£998). Sunny Park (Te Poi). —Cheese: Pounds of milk, 498,190 (205,141) ; test, 3.72 (3.85); pounds of butterfat, 18,531 (11,276); payout, 1/8 (1/5); total, f1544 5/ (£798 13/11). Butter: Pounds of cream, 24,566 (21,811) ; teat, 40.79 (41.74); pounds of butterfat, 10,021 (9103.9); pounds of milk, — (135,353); pounds of butterfat from milk,— (5302); payout, 1/0 (1/5); total distribution, £815 5/0 (£lOl 3/4) ; advances to date, £2359 (£1812).
