BOXING.

McINN 7 E AND McDONALD.

DUNEDIN, this day.

Tommy Mclnnes, teh Scottish middleweight, who pleased the Otago officials who were in Auckland for the New Zealand amateur championships by his aggressive display when he met Lachie McDonali, has written to the Otago Association seeking a match in Dunedin after his bout with Monson at Auckland on Monday. Mclnnes is such a willing fighter that many keen enthusiasts are eager to see him in action in Dunedin, and if the association matched him with Lachie McDonald in a return bout it would be a very popular move. Johnny Leckie has had to concentrate on road work lately, on account of his injured right hand, but he should be able to commence gym work again for his return bout with Radford, now fixed for October 1.
