WOMEN JOCKEYS.
Strictly Prohibited In France. PROVINCIAL COURSES WARNED ("Times" Cables.) PAKI&, September 20. The Paris correspondent of tlie "Times" says the racecourse stewards have prohibited women from taking part in any kind of horse race, and have warned the provincial racecourse companies that if they organise further meetings with women jockeys the subsidy derived from the central authority will be withdrawn.
