BYRD EXPEDITION.
AIRMEN AND 'PLANES SET OUT. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 12 noon.) NORFOLK (Va.), September 20. The Byrd expedition whaler Larsen with the four 'planes and three pilots sailed on Thursday. Com:nander Byrd will join the Larsen at San Pedro, California. Commander Byrd's supply ship, City of New York, has returned to Panama with engine trouble.
