MOUNT ALBERT CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Mount Albert Cricket Club was held last evening, Mr. B. Brlgham presiding over a good attendance.

The annual report stated the club had enjoyed a' very successful year, the third grade team winning the championship, with which goes the Opotiki Silver Cup. The following officers were elected; — Patron, Mr. L. E. Rhodes; president, Mr. J. Reg. Walker; vice-presidents. Dr. G. D. Lindsay, Messrs. C. Barnes, B. Brigham, A. F. Bennett, AY. Brook Smith, P. Caughey, C. H. Davis, L. Dimery, I*. Floyd, A. C. Gallagher, M. Halliwell, A. W. Page, H. Turner; honorary members, Messrs. J. Caughey and W. F. Stilwell; management committee, Messrs. Rountree, Kankin, Delugar, Floyd and Hirst; selectors, Messrs. Gallagher and Wilkinson; secretary, Mr. F, B. Watts; auditor, Mr. E. Coleman; delegate to A.C.A., Mr. K. W. Kountree. Several new members were nominated, and it was decided to hold the first practice as soon as the grounds are in order.

THE UNIVERSITY CLUB.

The annual general meeting of the Auck laud University College Cricket Club was largely 'attended. It was reported that a cricket bat donated by Mr. Fee for the best performance in any grade during the past season had been won by Mr. L. H. Sctanauer. _ The anuual report showed gratifying results, and the balance-sheet revealed the club's finances to be in & very satisfactory condition. . . . _ The club's practice wickets were reportea to be in a very good condition, and, weather permitting, the first practice should take place on Saturday week. The following officers were elected:— President. Professor P. W. Burbldge; vicepresidents, Sir Geo. Fowlds. Professors JCgerton, I'n tersen. Bart rum. Johnson, Dr. McDougall, and Messrs. It. B. Lusk, Ilainpson F?o. Ardem and Garrard; delegates to Auckland Cricket Asisociation, W. J. Smectou, E. C. (ice, D. It. Garrard. dub captain E C Gee: management committee. J. M. McDougall, W. J. Sinceton, R. Bush, D. R. Garrard and L. H. Kchnauer ; hon. secretary and treasurer, A. McDougall; hon. auditor. D. R. Garrard. During the evening fourteen new members were elected. Mr. W. 11. Graham was elected a life member pf the club.

NORTH SHORE CLUB. Another very successful season was reported at the annual meeting of the North Shore Cricket Club last evening. Dr. H. C. Bennett presided. • The balance-sheet showed the club to be in a. sound financial position, new material 11 the value of foO being already in band IV. the opening of the new season. The late It. J. Clark Memorial Cup will be presented to the Auckland Cricket Association at its annual meeting. The Vercoe Cup, for the most successful bowlef, was presented to L. A. Saunders, and Mr. W, E. Napier's bat, for the most improved player, to J. Cowic. The presidents bat, for the most consistent player intending practice, was won by 11. G. Smith. Donations for the forthcoming season were accepted as follows*: —Mr, A. M Howden, a bat for the best bowling average in the senior and fourth grade; Mr. G Jackson, a bat for the best batting average in the senior and third grade; Mr. A Wpolley, a bat for the best fieldsman in the senior team. The election of officers resulted as follows; —President, Dr. H. C. Bennett; vice-presidents, fame as last year, with the addition of Messrs. Muskett. Glover, Lee Cotisins and Warren; secretary, Mr. T Smith; treasurer and material Bteward Mr. S. .T. Smith ; honorary auditors, Messrs F. T. Evre. A. E. Wilson; club captain, Mr W. J. Coatew; committee, Messrs. A. ley, L. Saunders. G. Jackson, A. Flayer, L. Colebourne, G. Samson, D. Lusk; delegates to Auckland Cricket Association, Messrs A. Woolley, W. J. Coates, G. Jackson ; dele gate to the management committee, Mr. • Jackson. It was decided to apply to the Auckland Cricket Association for permission for J. Langridge to play for the North Shore Club, provided the procedure of allotting him to the weakest club in the competition was not carried out.
