MANGAWEKA CLUB. TAIIJAPE, Thursday. The annnnl. meetiuc of the Manpaweka Croquet Club was held yesterday, when Mrs, Fox presided over a good attendance. Tb« balance-sheet showed a very satisfactory credit balance of £32 16/7. The election of officers" for the ensiling term resulted as follows: —President, Mrs. Fox; vice-president, Mrs. Green; club cap tain. Mr. Davidson; secretary, Mrs. lv< Bailey: committee. Mesdames- J. Phillips, A. Bailey, and D. Watklns. The official opening of the cluh. was fixed for October 2.
