ASSISTING IN GAMING.
HASTINGS MAN FINED £50. TWO OTHERS £J5 EACH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. The sequel to a recent gaming prosecution was heard in the Police Court this morning, when Walter McQuilken and Edwin Lean were charged with having assisted Francis William Fitzpatrick in conducting the business of a common gaming house, and William Maule was charged with having made a bet with Fitzpatrick. McQuilken was fined £50, and Lean and Maule £15 each.
