STRANGE MOTOR OARS.
I notice a paragraph about a lively experience that two persons had in a car after being picked up by a stranger. It has often struck me that people are extremely trusting in the matter of motor car "lifts." Anybody who stops and offers them a ride is presumed to be a good driver, whereas he may be the worst in the world. He may be driving for the first time—or the last. However, if yon refuse a ride and choose to walk on you are liable to be run over, so perhaps it is better to trust to luck and accept. NO CAR.
