(Withdraws and Tahiti resumes.) UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. The Katoa is to sail at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kaitangata arrived at Lyttelton at 9.30 a.m.; yesterday and sailed at 3 p.m. today for Wellington and Auckland, to complete discharge of her cargo of produce from Australian ports. The Waipiata leaves Dunedin this after- ! noon for Auckland via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Balls Head is still delayed in the 1 roadstead at Greymouth and is unlikely to leave there for Auckland before Saturday. ! On her return voyage to San Pedro, the tanker O. A. Knudsen was dispatched from Wellington this morning. On her second visit of the season to the New Hebrides, the Melanesian Mission yacht Southern Cross is to sail at 2 p.m. to- | morrow. She is at the Queen's wharf. [ To load timber for Melbourne and Sydney. the Union Co.'s steamer Kaituna is to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for Greymouth. To continue discharge of her cargo of Nauru phosphates, the stearrer Kintyre is to sail to-morrow afternoon for Lyttelton. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night.—Tofua, Pt. Hunter, Spinanger, Berwick Law, City of Cambridge, Hatkola, Kaituna, Aorangi, Antonio. Taking passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney, the Huddart, Parker steamer Ulimaroa is to be dispatched from Wellington at 11 a.m. to-morrow. She is due at Sydney next Tuesday morning, and leaves there the following Friday for Auckland. Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the departure from there at 7 p.m. on Tuesday of the Union Co.'s chartered steamer Hatkhola for Auckland and Wellington, to continue discharge of her cargo of Eastern produce from Calcutta. Rangoon and Singapore. She should arrive here on Sunday evening or Monday morning. RAVENSCAR AT WELLINGTON. Bound from Sasaja (Red Sea) to AuckI land with prosphate, the steamer Ravenscar put into Wellington early this morning ■ short of coal. She is now expected to reach here next Monday to discharge to the agency of Henderson and Masfarlane, Ltd., GALLIC'S MOVEMENTS. For furtlftr Homeward loading, the White Star steamer Gallic arrived at Gisborne from Napier at 8 a.m. to-day. She is to leave there to-night and is due at Auckland to-morrow night. L. D. Nathan, Ltd., announce her to sail for New York, Boston, Halifax, London and West of England ports on Tuesday next. DANYBRYN COMING. Advice received by Spedding, Limited, states that the steamer Danybryn was dispatched from Java on September 26 with a full cargo of raw sugar for Auckland. The vessel will call at Port Bowen for bunkers and she is expected to reach Auckland about September 00. AORANGI LEAVES SYDNEY. 1 Leaving Sydney this afternoon, the Union Co.'s ILM.hls. Aorangi is due at Auckland next Monday morning, and is announced to resume her voyage to Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. ANTONIO FROM CASABLANCA. An expected arrival at Auckland within the next few days Is the steamer Antonio, with phosphate from Casablanca. No radio lias yet been received from her. (Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., agents.) THE MAUI POMARB. From Apia and Nine, via Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington, the Government motorship Maul Pomare is now due at Auckland on September 27, and is announced to sail for Norfolk Island at 2 p.m. on September 29. THE WAIKAWA. From Los Angeles, the Union Co.'s steamer Waikawa is due at Apia to-morrow to commence discharge of her general cargo. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 1. Her other ports of discharge are Nelson, Bluff, Melbourne and Sydney. MAHENO AND MARAMA. With passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland and Wellington respectively, the Union Co.'s steamers Maheno and Marama are to leave Sydney to-morrow. Both vessels are due at their respective ports next Tuesday, and sail again for Sydney the following Friday. NIAGARA CLEARED VANCOUVER. The local office of the Union Co. has received cabled advice that the R.M.s. Niagara left Vancouver at noon yesterday with passengers, mails and cargo for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney. She is due here on October 8. POOLTA AT SYDNEY. The Union Co.'s steamer Poolta arrived at Sydney this morning with timber from Greymouth and Westport. She is to complete discharge at Newcastle and load at Brisbane, Clarence River, Port Stephens and Newcastle, for Wellington, Lyttelton and Timaru. RIMUTAKA REPORTED. Cabled advice received this morning by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the steamer Rimutaka, en route from London to Auckland, arrived at Colon last Monday and cleared Panama yesterday. She is due here on October 12. PASSENGERS FROM LONDON. Russell and Somers, Limited, have received advice tha* the following passengers for New Zealand ere travelling by the P. and O. liner Cathay, which is due at Sydney from London to-day :—Mr. Hunter, Miss Heal, Miss Hawkes, Mr. Kay, Mr. and Mrs. Hardle, Mr. Scott, Miss Simpson and Mr. Ruddock. WAITEMATA AT VANCOUVER. To commence loading for New Zealand, the Union Co.'s steamer Waitemata arrived at Vancouver on Monday from Newcastle, via Suva. She Is to fill up at New Westminster, Powell River, Union Bay, San Francisco and Los Angeles, sailing from the latter port on October 7 for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson, New Plymouth, and probably oiluff if sufficient inducement offers. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. Captain M. MacKenzie has been appointed to command the Kak&riki temporarily, vice Captain A. W. Creese, who has transferred to the Ngakuta, relieving Captain T. B. Robertson for holidays. Mr. A. F. Inman, who has just reported from holidays, has been appointed chief officer of the Maheno. Mr. D. H. Richards is joining the Aorangi at Sydney as junior third officer, in place of Mr. E. V. Bilger, who has been promoted senior third officer. Mr. W. J. Weber has been granted extended leave to proceed to England. CARGOES FROM W.C.U.K. Following the Devon, which arrived this morning, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina is scheduled to arrive from Liverpool next Monday. She lias general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. Also with cargo from West of England ports the Federal Line steamer Hertford was to leave Liverpool last Sunday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on October 23. PORT OF OJTEBTUNGA. i ARRIVALS—YESTERDAY. Hauturu, from Raglan, 5 p.m. Russell and Somers, Ltd., advise that the Anchor Line steamer Orepuki is bar bound at Greymouth and is not now due at Onehunga to load for Nelson until Wednesday next.
