AUCKLAND SHAREMABKET

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Huddarfc-Parker Steam ordinary shares sold at £2 9/, cum div., at the third call yesterday, but this morning quotations were ex div. P. and O. Deferred Stock can be got at £215, but sellers now only quote £235. New Zealand Insurance shares firmed to buyers at £2 4/9, which brought in a seller at £2 5/6. Queensland Insurance shares firmed 3d, being wanted at £3 4/9. A sale was made of South British Insurance at £3 3/, with further shares available at that figure. All woollen company shares were in request to-day, and a sale was recorded in contributing Kaiapoi issue at 3/10. Business was done in New Zealand Refrigerating at 19/3, and for Dalgety, Ltd., £15 could be got. Farmers' Fertiliser firmed 6d, being wanted at £4 5/6. More disposition is now shown to do business in Renown Collieries. A sale was reported this morning at 12/6. West port Coal shares were inquired for to-day at £1 10/3, but there were no sellers. Milne and Choyco shares firmed a little, buyers offering £1 4/9 for both shares and debentures. Sellers came in of New South Wales Bank shares at £51 15/, but buyers quoted 20/ under that figure.
