CITY LOAN PROPOSALS.
BATHS AT PT. CHEVALIER. IMPROVING CITY POOL. A poll of city ratepayers ifi being taken to-day on proposals to borrow £22,500 for bathe at Point Chevalier and £7500 for nitration and sterilisation plants, at Parnell and Shelly Beach baths and for the extension of the intake pipe in connection with the Hobson Street tepid baths. There are 34 polling places, which close at 7 p.m." to-day.
