NEW SOUTH WALES SHEEP.
The number, of sheep in New South Wales at December 31, 1927, wae 48,920,000, being a decrease of 5.710,000 for the year. This decrease was occasioned by increased slaughtering, increased export to other States, decreased lambing, and heavy mortality, due to weather conditions. The number of eheep at June 30, 1927, 35,930,000, showed a decline of over 7,000,000 by Ihe «nd of the year.
