LAWN TENNIS.
TE AWAMUTU CLUB. TB AWAMUTU. Tuesday. At the annual meeting of th 4 Te Awamntn Lawn Tenuis Club the report showed that last season hail been very successful. The balance sheet showed a credit of £ 65. It Tas decided to open the new season on October 10. Increased opportunities for play are to be afforded school children. Eleven new members were elected. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr. D. S. Reid, M.P.; president, Mr. R. A. Covne: vice-presidents, Messrs. l>. MoCallum, A. P. Walker, 11. V. Holmes and S. S. Preston: secretary. Mr. E. W. White : treasurer. Mr. D. McCallum: general ronimittee. Mesdamos S. Clark and Walker, Miss >oonau, Messrs. J. Walsh, F. Macklow. J.
