DISPLAY AT HAMILTON. tliy TeU'graph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON. Tuesday. At tlic Hamilton Horticultural Society's show to-day soim> of tlie finest daffodils grown in New Zealand were on view. The judjte, Mr. J. O. Wqigliunan. of Feilding, said the champion daffodils, in their respective types, were perfect, and could m>t bo beaten in any show in New Zealand. He had not seen anything like the yellow trumpet, Golden King, exhibited by Mr. G. W. A. Shew, of Huritly. This bloom was I awarded the champion of champions. Other champion daffodils were:—Mr. Shaw's white trumpet, Peter Bar: Mr. r. W. W. Hubbard's Giraffe;, aud Mr. \V. Hammond's Barrii. In table decorations Mrs. Henley won one section with a display of violets and linaria, and Mrs. Carey won the second section with a grouping of nemesias and sparaxias. The decorated basket section was won by Miss Hooker with an exhibit of magnolia, stellata, freeslas and sweet peas.
