At a meeting of the Waibi Cricket Association, last night, a letter was received from Mr. Yon Der Heyde, of Auckland, stating that it wa snot rTrobable that his eleven could make the trip as proposed for the 9th November, owing to the decision or •having Saturday as a holiday Instead of Monday. It was resolved, on the motion ot Mr. Stewai-r., that in the event of the Auckland eleven not being able to mate the trip, the cap matches should be continued on Nov. 9. An application by Mr. Glass, on behalf of the City Junior Cricket Club, asking that cas dub should be admitted under the jurisdiction of the association, was read. A second communication was also received intimating: that the management committee of the club had changed the name to that of the Independent Junior Cricket Club. The chairman ruled the second letter out of order. It was unanimously resolved that the application by the City Junior Clut should be granted. The following fixtures were arranged for the -Senior and Junior clubs:—Nov. 7, City'play Waikino at Waikino;'Suburbs play West at'VValhi; Nov. ifa% Cityv. Suburbs;' West v. Wai&ino-at Waihi. Seniors: -'Nov. 9. (providing AtcMand eleven does not play), Suburbs v. West:- City *v. Walkino.
