■ A- match was played, on Saturday between the Austral and Imperial senior representatives, the latter- winning by 47 points to 38. Mr Marshall acted as umpire. The ground was heavy, but play was even. Imperial being more accurate in goal kicking. Some unnecessary roughness was noticeable at times. For the Austral team, Kiely, Abfaltcr, Monteith, Bettis, Tongue, Wells, and Liversedge played good games, while among the Imperials, Vance, Webb, Glenister, Birch, and Breese were most prominent „„ t n ™ nio Y s v - Imperial Juniors.—Eden won by 27 points to 16.
