■ A- match was played, on Saturday between the Austral and Imperial senior representatives, the latter- winning by 47 points to 38. Mr Marshall acted as umpire. The ground was heavy, but play was even. Imperial being more accurate in goal kicking. Some unnecessary roughness was noticeable at times.
