It- is noV settled that tlie Waikato magisterial-district will be divided, Mr. Northcroft ! ;taktag the northern end, and: Mr. Cruicishank. the southern portion, including Hamilton. Memberl! of -the Waikato ' Anglers' Club recently liberated 1200 trout from the local pond. The fish have done splendidly,*«tnd:niore than half averaged over sozs in weight. One of the larger ones measured 10in. long, 6Jin. in girth, and weighed Bozs., -which is;splendid developmentijfor an eight months old fish.
