Over a hundred delegates are attending the Colonial Conference of the nolicense party, Mr Adams presiding.
It was stated that the whole of the AUianee debt had been extinguished. It had been necessary to find £ 2000.' This was now in hand, and further amounts to come in would provide a credit balance for future work-
A long discussion took place on the principles and policy of the party, and the desirableness of a |rolonial vote upon the liquor question. The equity of settling any question submitted to popular vote by a simple majority was reaffirmed.
