TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION.
WELLINGTON, Wednesday.
The executive of the New Zealand Educational Institute waited on the Minister for Education to-day, and urged that a clause should be inserted in the proprosed Civil Service Superannuation Bill, giving to members of the teachers' superannuation fund the option of taking a vote as to whether they shall join the proposed Civil servants' superannuation, fund.
Mr. Fowlds, in reply, said that personally he was in favour of the insertion of such a clause, but the question was one which he would have to reserve for the consideration of the Cabinet.
