The training tracks at Treutham were mis morning neavy, as the result of frost, and poor times v. ere registered, bnrapnei fehell and Mlretta went once round in company, both moving fteeiy. Uatley went a mile by himself, struggling- hard for his head, khama covered two miies steadily, and finished fast. Haydn did similar work. Cavalry and ilontign reeled o:t a mile iv good siyle, ■the latter having , much the better of the gallop. Intelligence finished a little in front of Medallist at the end of four furlougs. Kuku and Kurawita galloped six furlongs, Kurawaka showing the waj- at the finish. Waltarere covered two miles at three-quarter pace. negotiated four obstacles satisiactOLily.
