'WAIUKU UNION.
The first match of the second round for the championship of the newly-formed Waiuku Union was played on Saturday between the Waipipi and City teams, resulting in a win for the latter team by three points to nil. The first round ended with' Otaua in the lead with two wins, and City and Waipipi a draw and a lost game each. In the junior division only two matches have been played, the first between City and Otaua resulting in a draw (no score), and City and Waipipi on Saturday, the former winning by 8 to nil.
PIAKO UNION MATCHES.
The Piako Rugby Union matches were continued on Saturday last. The senior match, Te Aroha v. Waihou, was postponed owing to some of the players being selected to play in the Goldflelds Union practice match. The junior match, Waihou v. Morrinsville,. was played at Morricsville, and after an interesting game resulted in a win for Morrinsville by 16 points to nil. Tries were scored by Bygrave (two) and R. lrwin and W. Neels (one each). Neels converted two. Mr. Lowry was referee.
OTAGO RUGBY UNION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. The following dates have been fixed for the interprovincial football matches here: Aug-nst 24, against Canterbury; August 31, against Auckland; September 21, against Wellington.
