IN BANKRUPTCY.
A sitting in banco was held at the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr. Justice Denniston, when the following cases were dealt with:—
On the motion of Mr. Glen McLean, an order for discharge was granted to Andrew Moros.
Mr. Skelton applied for an order for discharge for Peter Anich. The bankrupt, in reply to questions, said he had been a storekeeper at Waipa. His premises had been destroyed by fire, and he had lost his books, .tie had given all the particulars he could to the Official Assignee. He was now working as a, guindiggcr in Northern Wairoa. He started business again, and had another fire. His premises -were then insured for £200, but the insurance company only gave him £72.
His Honor said he was not prepared to grant the discharge without further particulars. He thought it was inadvisable to tempt the bankrupt into the hitherto unprofitable paths of commerce., and the case was ordered to stand over.
Mr. Basley appeared for Charles Kingsley Smith, and applied for an order for discharge, which -was granted.
On the application of Mr. E.
