HAMILTON NEWS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON- this day. At the first annual meeting of the Waikato Farmers' Auctioneering Company, held to-day, the following were elected directors: Messrs. J. Barugh, J. Knight, T. Paterson, W. G. Park, and H. S. Hawkins. Mr. G. Edgeeumbe was appointed shareholders' scrutineer. Mr. James Davys, a very old Waikato resident, died yesterday at the age of 82.
The football match Waikato v. Hamilton, played at Taupiri, on Saturday, was won by the former by 6 points to 3.. The game was yery evenly contested, •
