Improved. Prospects. (Received 9.58 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. At the half-yearly meeting of the Kauri Timber Company, the chairman stated that business -was active, and that prospects were good. The company's liabilities had now been reduced to £76,000, and if they went on as they had been doing they would have a clear balance-sheet in about two years.
