POLICE COURT.
_- -4> . THIS DAY. (Before Mr. E. J. Bartlett, J.P.). The Drunkards.—John B. Dunn, a prohibited man, was further remanded until Monday. Four first offenders were convicted and discharged on payment of costs. Another man, who had been before the Court previously, was fined 5/ and costs, and a man who did not appear forfeited his bail. Remanded.—Harry Orofton was remanded until Monday on a charge that qa June 25 he stole an overcoat and two caps worth 45/ belonging to Michael Mooney. Alleged Assault.—Henry Campbell was remanded until Wednesday on the application of Sergeant Hendry. He was charged that on June 28 he assaulted his wife so as to cause her actual bodily harm. The Sergeant said the woman had been somewhat badly injured and could not appear .for a day or two.
