GRADING OF BUTTER.

A Suggested Change. LONDON, Jane 27. Mr. Bent (the Victorian Premier) and Mr. J. W. Taverner (Agent-General) attended a meeting of the Home and Foreign Produce Exchange, and discussed the grading of Victorian better. The members of the Exchange passed a resolution recommending an alteration in the allotment of points, giving 70 for flavour, 20 for texture, and 1C for condition, with a minimum of 90 for firstclass. The grading must be done within tea days of the shipment.
