MEETINGS & ENTERTAINMENTS
OF FRIENDSHIP. | The Fonntain of Friendship Lodge of the Manchester Unify" of Oddfellows held its half-yearly meeting last evening in the Lome-street Hall, Bro. F. Martin, noble grand, presiding. There was a large attendance of members and visitors, among the latter being Bro. Dr. Ferguson, medical officer of the Loyal Pamell Lodge, Bro. W. Thomas, F.P.G.M., and others. A. large amount of cash was received, amounting to the snrn of £482 9/6, for the past fortnight The election of officers for the ensuing six months- resulted as follows:—Noble Grand, Bro. EL Martin; Bro. F. lt«Cnstr Elective Secretary, Bro. C A-Burow; Grand Master, Bro. F. Martin; Lecture Master, Bro. F. A. Smith, P.G. The following were elected a management committee for the ensuing cix months, viz.:—The lodge officers and Bro. E. Healey, P.G., Bro. P.. A. Stewart, P.G., and Bro. P. Horsr pooL One candidate was initiated, ami five persons were nominated for membership.
