WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Ihe ordinary meeting of the Waitemata County Council _ held yesterday, Mr 3. M. o'i"cil presided, and there were al.so present:—Messrs 1". Dye, A. ,T. Hatfield, 11. Catlness, A. Cochrane. 3. McLeod 11.' H Adams, T. Horton, and V. Taylor iN'onhcote Water Supply.-_a special order was passed, making by-laws, fixing the charges for the snppiy, resolution and conduct of the. Xortheote water supply. These will be confirmed at the next monthly meeting.
Bridge at Riverbead.—A petition signed by 131 ratepayers was forwarded by tcsidents of Riverhcad. asking r or lt (i overu _ lhent grant of £_o0 for the erection of a bridge across Ihe river to eaable residents to have access to the raliwav, and to facilitate school children getting to and from se-he.. was received and endorsed br 'he Council. '
