WRESTLING.
The Auckland Amateur Club have decided to hold at their fj*, coming championship meeting in J-α----ary a Cumberland wrestling eventjr amateurs, any weight. This event shcjj prove interesting, as there are sevtl noted Cumberland wrestlers in Au, land. It is some years since Cumb, land wrestling was indulged in in Aui land, so that it should be classed as novelty. It lias been decided by the committt of the Auckland Club that all medals o prizes for competition should be placet on view at least fourteen days priot to such competition, so that competitors may see what they are competing for.
