(From Our Own CorrespondenL) CAMBRIDGE, Wednesday. Last evening the Canibridge School Committee met. ' The treasurer of the Mauual and Technical Department reported he had collected £110, and there was another £10 yet to come in. It was decided to at once write Mr George George asking him to forward the erection of tlie necessary building at the earliest possible date. Complaints were received about corporal puulshmuit being unduly administered by one of tne teachers, aud the chairman was instructed to interview the headmaster regarding the matter. l_e ins tailing of the new sanitary system will cost £9 per annum, and it was decided to apply to the Board of Education for that sum. Trout are proving plentiful in the Waikato this season, and day by day sportsmen are to be seen taking home fish. Most of them are about 21bs in weight, but occasionally heavier ones are to be met withthe heaviest caught here yet was OJlbs. The" trout do not seem to rise well to the fly as yet, except very early in the morning; and the sprat Is so far the most deadl/ bait
