It was then discovered that the race .had been started before time, and the stewards ordered it to be ran again at 8.15 p.m., the totalisator not to b<: reopened. Spring Nursery.—Bonn. n.4. 1; Gold neater, 7.3. 12; Rose Noble, 7.12. 3. AU started. Won very easily. Time, 4Ss. Dividends — .£2 1/6 and £1 8/6. Avon Welter Handicap. — Stronghold I, Gold Seal 2, The Lark 3. Scratched — Aboriginal and Thunderer. Won by a length. Time L2S 3-5.
