CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
OTAHUHU RESIDENT AEE'ESTED,
..Constable foreman, of Otaliulsiu, yesterday arrested; William: F. Clausen on a charge of manslaughter in coimectiou with the death at Otahuhu on October 27 of his infant child. Clausen was later in the day charged before Mr. A. B- -Harris, J.P., and remanded until Saturday morning. The inquest, held on October 28, disclosed—a < considerable amount of carelessness towards the child by its parents, the jury adding a rider to the verdict of "Death from natural causes" that the parents, and particularly the father, were much to blame for their conduct in the matter. . . ..
