IMPRISONED SUFFRAGISTS.

Refusal of Privileges.

LONDON, November 1.

One of the women suffragists now in prison, Mrs. Cobden Sanderson, has refused mitigation of her sentence by treatment as a first-class misdemeanant, on the ground that she is at war with the State as constituted, and will accept nothing short of the rights due to all women forming part of the people of England. The other suffragists are taking a similar stand.
