FRENCH PATROL ANNIHILATED J OFFICER ANB 60 MEN. (By Cable.-Press Association.-Copyright.) PARIS, November 1. It is reported that a body of Senussi I tribesmen have annihilated a French : military parly ai a point 200 miles j nortn-cast of Lake Chad. The French party consisted o f a camel patrol of one oliicer and 00 men. The Senussi tribesmen effected a surprise and killed every man of the patrol. [The Senussi are a Sahara religious (Mussulman) organisaion, with head-' quarters at Jarauub, on the Tripoli frontier, and having a membership set as high Hi three millions.]
