DECISION OF THE EXECUTIVE. ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) - WELLINGTON, Tuesday, It was announced this evening that, the Executive had decided that the laW should take its course in the case of Ellis, who was found guilty of the murder of Collinson at Te Awaite, with a recommendation to mercy by the juryThe position now is that the condemned man must be hanged within seven days of notice being given to the sheriff of the Cabinet's decision.
