A painful accident happened to Air Fred Oxenham, oi Onehunga, yesterday. while he was trimming off the boughs from a blue gum tree. The blade of the tomahawk he was using glanced off the tree, and his left hand was severely cut and the sinews lacerated.
A small sensation was caused at the Hospital yesterday by a 17-year-oW girl, one of the patients, running away. The girl was delirious, and while in that state slipped out of the ward in her nightdress. She got away, although followed, and the police were informed.
